Individual Responsibility

Their relationship between individual responsibility and social change. Many educational institutions around the world encourage this thought amongst their students. These institutions install values of social responsibility in their students. It is important to make youngsters realize that it’s your country, your home, so you are responsible to clean your environment, educate the poor, share your things with the underprivileged, don’t throw garbage on road. However, when you look around in your surroundings, you see that our educated people throw garbage from cars and from their homes, park cars on roads, break traffic rules every day. I don’t know why our parents and teachers are still silent, they need to force the education department and government to make individual responsibility and civics education part of our curriculum. We need not only lessons on how to be a good citizen, but also a practical curriculum, which requires students to engage in different tasks, such as welfare society where they are tasked with spending time with street children, in elder homes, animal farms etc. They help lot in making our children responsible and good citizens of our beloved country. I request the government, parents and schools to make individual responsibility part of curriculum's and teach these things at home also. Furthermore school should organise campaigns, seminars, and other social awareness events to engage students. I am hopeful these initial steps can change our children and make them responsible citizens.
